Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, was born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both attorneys. When she was a kid she was enrolled in the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma's dream was to become an actor. As a young girl of 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch and took lessons on singing, acting, as well as dancing. From the age of 10, she took part and performed the main role in several Stagecoach productions as well as school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version to J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting agent by her Oxford drama instructor. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been selected for the characters. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's debut film appearance came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The film was also one of the top-rated films in 2001. The opening weekend and day ticket sales were record-breaking. Reviewers have been highly lauding the film as well as the performance of the three young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British publication, described Emma's performances "amazing". Emma was later awarded five prizes to honor her role in the film.
